My Journey as a Guitarist and Luthier

Passionate about music from an early age, I began learning music when I discovered the guitar, without yet realizing that it would become the guiding thread of my life. Over the years, I joined various musical projects, where sharing and exchanging with other musicians only deepened my passion. This naturally led me to immerse myself further in the musical world by working in a music store in Toulouse, combining passion with professional experience.

Those four highly formative years allowed me to meet many musicians, listen closely to their needs, and become familiar with a wide range of instruments, notably bass and drums. Wanting to pass on my passion for the guitar, I then offered private acoustic and electric guitar lessons for ten years in the Toulouse area, while using my free time to develop my skills in luthiery.

Along the way, I expanded my work into guitar and bass setup and repair, while beginning my first guitar builds—marking my transition into the craft of a luthier. This self-taught path required a great deal of time and commitment, but as with any true passion, effort is never counted. Learning through hands-on practice, much like a guitarist learning music, allowed me to build solid expertise. For seven years, I built guitars and basses under the name NW Guitars, while offering setup and repair services in my workshop in Pins-Justaret.

Since 2020, I have continued this educational approach by offering luthiery workshops, once again sharing my passion and know-how with musicians eager to learn. Guitarists and bassists can spend a full week in the workshop by my side, building their own instrument from start to finish, following detailed specifications that match the guitar of their dreams.
